The government is now targeting the realization of quality and affordable health for all Kenyans by 2022. The ministry of health says it is investing heavily in the sector to ensure that the country attains universal healthcare coverage programme in a bid to cushion Kenyans from poverty brought about by huge cost of Medicare.
