The finale of La Cenerentola is fully representative of Rossini's art and truly worthy of, for example, the lively finale from Il Barbiere di Siviglia.

Here is the cast:

Joyce DiDonato - Angelina (Cenerentola),
Patrizia Cigna - Clorinda,
Martina Borst - Tisbe,
Jose Manuel Zapata - Don Ramiro,
Paolo Bordogna - Dandini,
Bruno Pratico - Don Magnifico,
Luca Pisaroni - Alindoro.

We continue with the finale in the midst of Angelina's arioso, presenting herself to the bewitched courtiers. Ramiro and Dandini are also given verses, though, unusually but effectively, Ramiro's arioso is given a different, more longing line, while Dandini greets Angelina with her own arioso, asking her to unveil herself. Angelina obliges, causing everybody to yelp out in suprise, as her face, even in these new surroundings is very much familiar to all of them. A choked concentrato follows, setting apart Angelina's and Dandini's (who has become infatuated with the former) ornamented, triumphant lines with the doted lines of the chorus and the other singers. Finally, Don Magnifico appears to announce that diner is served, only to stopping dead in his tracks at the sight of his own daughter, disbelieving the possibility of her being here. Dandini quickly takes matters in his own hands and invites all to the table which they happily oblige to escape this impolite pause. The final stretta employs a rather traditional metaphor of a slowly growing thunderstorm that has found its' way into the characters heads but the music is ravishingly funny that such comments become obsolete.

Hope you'll enjoy :)!
