Uganda Human Rights Commission investigating Arua election violence

The Uganda Human Rights Commission says it is investigating case of human rights injustices arising from the recent parliamentary by-election in Arua municipality. 

Commission chairperson Med Kaggwa said they have started inspecting facilities where suspects are held in detention. He spoke at a press conference at the commission’s headquarters in Kampala.
