Frank Farian's creation: the three women and one man for a disco group - Boney M would be a force to be reckoned with for the rest of the decade. It would take a little time to really take off in America, but Europe and Australia really really loved the simple but catchy refrains of their disco hits. "Daddy Cool" with basically just one line of lyric, was a very infectious and danceable hit. In Australia, "Daddy Cool" entered the Top 100 exactly 35 years ago, and would climb all the way to #5, spending 6 months in the chart. It would be followed by "Sunny". "Ma Baker" in 1977 and "Rivers of Babylon", "Rasputin" and "Hooray Hooray" in 78/9. Enjoy!
