Treasury has released a further 1.6 billion shillings to be used in scaling up responses through provision of water for both livestock and humans at a time that drought continues to ravage parts of the country. The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries is at the same time asking pastoralists to take advantage of the off-take exercise and sell their livestock if they are to get better returns.
