In this video, I’m demonstrating the Close-Grip (CG) Floor Press, an excellent exercise for building triceps and improving your bench press lockout strength. The floor press variation is perfect for those looking to target the triceps while minimizing shoulder strain, as the floor limits the range of motion and reduces the stress on your shoulders compared to a regular bench press.

I’ll walk you through the setup, focusing on foot positioning, grip width, and body alignment to make sure you’re getting the most out of each rep. The key with the CG Floor Press is maintaining a tight upper back, keeping your elbows close to your body, and driving through the triceps as you press the bar up. This exercise is great for increasing triceps power, improving overall pressing strength, and reinforcing solid form for both bench presses and overhead presses.

Whether you're aiming to increase your pressing power, improve your triceps strength, or add variety to your upper body routine, the Close-Grip Floor Press is a great addition to your training. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more strength training tips!
