ICS on Samsung Galaxy S III (S 3):

The Samsung Galaxy S III comes loaded with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich layered on top with Samsung's all-time favorite TouchWiz. TouchWiz looks great on the Galaxy S III and
all credits to the quad-core processor for running Android 4.0 with such panache. I have absolutely no complaints with my experience of ICS on the S III. Its stunning and effortless!

However, the presence of TouchWiz on the Galaxy S 3 means that the regular function keys of return, home and recent apps is lost and Samsung has its own layout of function keys. You have capacitive backlit return and menu key and a physical home key. Keep the home key pressed and you can perform the same function as that of the recent apps key.

You also loose the capability of creating folders by directly dragging and dropping one icon over the other, instead TouchWiz requires you to press the menu key and then tap on "create folder" for the same. Even then, TouchWiz 4.0 is quite impressive and brings with it quite a few tweaks. Check out the video for more information.

All-share play, Dropbox, Game hub, S memo, S planner, S Suggest, S voice and Samsung Apps are some of the pre-loaded apps packed along with the Google suite of apps in the S III. Flipboard, the much awaited reader was also released exclusively for the Galaxy S III and is now available in the Android market to download for all compatible handsets.
