A3833159 Pops is a bomb-proof 10-year-old black with white neutered male Norwegian Elkhound and German Shepherd mix who was found as a stray in Azusa and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on October 12th. Weighing 43 lbs, Pops seems like he was loved and is eager to be part of a family again.  He’s a handsome boy with thick black fur that shows rust highlights in the sun. With a bath and good nutrition, he is going to be an eye-catching companion. By his number it looks like he was adopted as a puppy and now finds himself back here as a senior. He’s really good on leash, shows signs of housebreaking and already knows sit. He is a gentle yet spunky fellow which makes us think Pops will fit into just about any home but it’s unknown if he is good with small animals.  Pops needs a family that will give him the love and attention he deserves in his golden years.
