The International Conference on Great Lakes has resolved that member countries should train and arm government security personnel in the Central African Republic to enable them defend their country against rebellion. The President of the committee on peace and security, Arinaitwe Rwakajara from Uganda said the security situation in the Central African Republic remains uncertain, thus impeding development of the country with a limping economy.
