Microsoft Excel Tutorial:  How to Copy a Specific Section of Your Spreadsheet in Excel and 2007.

Welcome to another episode of "Where Is It Wednesday"! I'm Bill Jelen and I want to give a big shoutout to George Wood for our awesome theme song. In this episode, we're going to be talking about a feature that many of you may not have known existed in the old version of Excel. It's a handy trick for copying a specific section of your spreadsheet and pasting it into an email or document without having to use the Print Screen button.

So, let's say you have a spreadsheet with a lot of data and you only want to copy a specific section of it. You could use a tool like Snagit, but if you don't have that, you're stuck using the Print Screen button. But fear not, because there's a better way! In Excel 2003, you can hold down the Shift key and go to the Edit menu to find a hidden gem called "Copy Picture". This allows you to copy the selected section of your spreadsheet and paste it as a picture into your email or document. No more pasting the entire screen and having to crop it down to the section you want.

But what about Excel 2007? Well, unfortunately, the Shift key trick doesn't work here. But don't worry, there's still a way to do it. You'll need to add the "Copy as Picture" icon to your Quick Access toolbar. To do this, right-click on the toolbar and select "Customize". Then, go to "All Commands" and find "Copy as Picture" in the list. Add it to your toolbar and now you can easily copy and paste a specific section of your spreadsheet as a picture.
