Mean Wasp in the Cockpit

Departed out of Lantana (KLNA) airport for a VFR practice flight and a few minutes after departure I saw a huge and irate wasp/hornet flying against the windshield and around us. Pretty scary considering that their sting is very painful and I don't know if I'm allergic since I was never stung before. We ended up going to Boca (KBCT) which was close by. Notice how the distraction made me say "Papa tower" instead of "Boca tower". It turns out that this was most likely a yellow-jacket hornet that was hiding in one of the air vents. Now blowing into the air vents and checking all the seals around the windshield is part of my pre-flight. Enjoy!
