If tanA=1/2,find the value of (Cos A)/(Sin A)+(Sin A)/(1+CosA) This can be solved by using Pythagoras theorem tanA=1/2 Now Sin A= 1/√5 and Cos A=2/√5 Substituting the values we get (Cos A)/(Sin A)+(Sin A)/(1+CosA)=√5 Using identity also , this can be solved (Cos A)/(Sin A)+(Sin A)/(1+CosA)=(Cos A(1+CosA)+〖Sin〗^2 A)/(Sin A(1+CosA) )=1/(Sin A)=Cosec A= √5
