Parliament postpones decision on Mobile Money tax amendment

A lack of quorum today resulted in Parliament failing to consider amendments of the Excise Duty Act 2018 that introduced a tax on mobile money transactions.

The Finance Committee tabled a report that endorsed the amendments but another that rejected them was also presented.
