Former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has appeared before a Mombasa High Court as a witness in a case in which a non-governmental organization, has sued the state for damages. Mutunga presented himself before High Court Judge Dora Chepkwony to defend Muslim for Human Rights an organization he co-founded in 1997 with Professor Alamin Mazrui.
