President Uhuru Kenyatta has signed into law the Appropriation Bill 2018, authorizing the expenditure  of 1.4 trillion shillings from the Consolidated Fund. This will ensure that delivery of services by the government do not halt pending the approval of the 2018/2019 budget by the National Assembly.
