Woman Attacked By Three Dogs Wants Them To B

A Bradley County woman is at home recovering after police say she was brutally attacked by three dogs on Monday.

"It was like they were treating me like I was a piece of meat, like they were trained to do this, not that I'm saying that they were," Catherine Riddle, the victim, said.

Riddle is covered in bites, bandages, and bruises.

She says she was walking down Carter Road in Bradley County Monday night when three dogs approached her. She says she stopped.

"I said 'no, no no.. no, no be good girls, good doggies,' and when I raised my foot just a tad bit that was it," she said.

The dogs knock her over, teeth sinking in on her legs, torso, and arms.

"It was the bigger one. He grabbed my left arm over here and he picked me up and slung me down and I hit the concrete, then he picked me up again and he jerked. You know how dogs just jerk, but he jerked me then he took and drug me from the road to in the woods somewhere like a half a block or something," Riddle said.

She says screaming for help only made the attack worse. 

"I really thought I was dead. I really thought I was going to die. I mean I gave up. I just I knew the longer I kept fighting it was making it worse so I just gave up and I just laid there and let them eat at me," she said.

Finally, two women came to her rescue.

"I feel like them two ladies are my guardian angels, they saved my life," she said. 

Owner Billy Rogers was charged with three counts of Dog at Large with Serious Bodily Harm. Riddle says she wants these dogs to be put down so a brutal attack like this one won't happen again.

"All I can see is them dogs ripping me apart," Riddle said. "I mean, I just can't even close my eyes. I can hear it, I can see it, and it's hard."

Riddle hasn't seen the two women since they rescued her on Monday.
She says if you know who they are she'd like to speak with them and tell them thank you.

All 3 dogs are under a ten day quarantine. After that it will be up to the county or a judge to decide if the dogs will be put to sleep.
