Head Bob Problem. Did you know? Does a counterweight fix it?

Yes, it's a vertical video... there's a reason! That way I could get both the display and the dial in the frame. So this head bob effect, where the head lifts a bit more when you start moving it down, is something I'd not heard of, had you? And if you have seen this, does adding a counterweight or gas strut solve the problem?
