Our great niece, Ashtin, wanted to reuse her old planner with Lilly Pulitzer papers and came up with the idea of taking her full length mirror and surrounding it with the papers. She covered the outside wood with masking tape to cover the ridges that were in the wood so the new paper wouldn't tear in the ridges. She also put painter's tape on the glass to protect the glass, but then realized the tape would stick to the glue she was applying to her papers, so she removed it. She measured the wood outside edge, then the across the top of the wood, then from the top to the mirror and scored her papers on each of these measurements so her papers would be completely even when she attached them.. Ashtin used hot glue to hold the paper in place. She used a ruler to make sure her papers were completely adhered to the mirror and so she wouldn't burn herself. Smart girl, considering how often I burn myself with hot glue. We didn't have time for her to Mod Podge the mirror while we were together, but luckily you can see her end result which was really lovely.
