This is the first video in a series entitled "Totally Terrific Tags and Trimmings."  In order to make these cute ornaments, you'll need

either 2 1/2" circle or scallop punch making 8 circles or scalloped circles (I recommend circles, they are much easier to align)
eight embellishments for the center-I used a punched 1" snowflake in red glitter cardstock that I ran through my Xyron machine (a machine that turns anything flat into a sticker) and then attached to the center of each circle or scalloped circle.
(It is easiest, if you fold your circles before attaching the embellishment so you are certain that it is in the center.
Wet glue that is very tacky- I used Tombow, but any fast sticking adhesive will work.
A 12" piece of ribbon and a color coordinated bauble for the bottom of the string. (If you don't want to have the added expense, you could just tie a knot at the bottom and at the top of the ribbon.
(I bought a bag of bells at the Dollar Tree for $1)

1. Fold each circle so you know where the center is (using a scallop creates a problem when you try to match up each piece).

2. Add your embellishment to the center using the fold line as a guide.  Gently fold again to ensure the embellishment will stick and that it has started to fold as well.  You don't need an embellishment and could use glitter all over if you prefer.

3. Fold each circle in half and put glue on that half (making sure glue doesn't come out of the open part of your circles if possible), then attach the next circle matching the half exactly so together they appear to be one half-circle. Add the third circle by gluing as before and then add the fourth.  At this point, I attached a clothespin to the back of the circles (on the bent side of the circles).  Apply more glue here if you feel they are not completely attached together..again, this is the part of the circle that was bent not the open side. After the glue is set, remove the clothespin.

4. Repeat step three with the other four circles and set aside.

5. Thread your bell through the ribbon to the middle.  Tie a knot at the other end and then lay the ribbon on the folded edge of your circles where you just added more glue in step three..  Make sure the bell is very close to the bottom of the circles.  Press lightly to ensure the glue adheres to the ribbon. 
6. After attaching the ribbon to the first four half circles, remove the clothespin (if you haven't already) from the second set of four half circles. Put glue on one side of the first four and align with second four making sure your ribbon stays in place with the bell at the bottom and the knot above so you can attach it to the tree. Press together then glue the other side and attach.  Hopefully you have not glued the fronts together and you can easily see the embellishment in the center of each.
