An initiative to raise 5 million shillings towards the conservation of the critically endangered mountain bongo species has been launched in Nairobi. Paytech Africa says the species can only be saved through partnership with conservationists that address specific causes in breeding and protecting the rare antelope. Only an estimated 100 Mountain Bongos remain the wild globally.
