When old buildings are renovated, most redevelopers try to mimmick the asthetics of the original design. They might "cheap out" for something lesser in style, but still would be somewhat similar to what was there originally.
Although the old mill building in question Does look beautiful, the designer failed to keep things anywhere close to what it used to be. The end result, an EPIC FAIL in design, which tries to make an old building look like it wasn't around for long. People will flock to it for space, but it just makes you ask: "What the heck were they thinking?!"
