The International Commission of Jurists Kenya now believes that the drastic judiciary budget cut for the 2018/19 financial year  has a political connection in it. ICJ Kenya chairman Kelvin Mogeni claims the budget cut is a political witch hunt by the legislature and the executive following a number of rulings by judiciary that rubbed the two institutions the wrong way.
