A5234777 Apollo is an adventurous almost 2-year-old cream and charcoal-colored male Siberian Husky Puppy who was surrendered to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center by his owners on November 6th because they had difficulty containing him. Weighing about 45 lbs, Apollo is affectionate, attentive, and really, really smart. His former owners said he did well with kids aged 8 and older and gets along with other large dogs. Apollo knows “sit” and “paw,” and is eager to learn more. Manageable on leash, he loves to explore the world around him and meet new people. When you meet him, you’ll be struck by the intelligence in his ice-blue eyes; this teenaged puppy will need daily exercise, training, and lots of mental stimulation to keep him content. Once he’s been worn out a little, he gives ready kisses. Apollo is a little underweight and needs a new owner to spoil him with treats and give him the physical and mental challenge he craves. He’ll be an incredibly rewarding companion for a family that can give him the attention he deserves.
