Squamous cell carcinoma in a cat?

A vet had cauterised the "rodent ulcer" in this white Persian cat's Upper left lip and had diagnosed "squamous cell carcinoma". Now there is a swelling of 8 mm x 8 mm x 4 mm in the same lip area. I advised excision and histology when it is small in size..
