Seven employees of Thika Technical Training Institute have been charged with stealing 27 million shillings from the institution on diverse dates. Separately the Directorate of criminal investigation has made an application at a Kiambu court to detain five Chinese nationals for 25 days. The five were found in possession of gadgets believed to be a threat to national security. More details in the court roundup.
