A5085753 Thatcher is a fluffy 2-year-old white male Toy Poodle who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray from La Puente on July 4th. Weighing 5 lbs (and in need of gaining a little more), this petite fellow is initially shy in the shelter environment, but with a patient approach warms up quickly to new people. Indeed, given a few minutes to warm up for his glamour shot and video, his tail then wagged happily the entire time. Thatcher is a friendly and cheerful young pup, described by one volunteer as a dog with a “joyful” energy “who makes you happy to be around” him. He walks well on leash, shows signs of house training, and gets along with other dogs. With his diminutive size, Thatcher is a perfectly portable pup who can easily travel with you wherever you go. He will love having a spa day so he can look and feel his very best. We think that Thatcher will bring lots of love and laughs to his forever person or family as an indoor pet and beloved companion.
