A5163781 Bear is a noble 11-year-old black-and-tan male German Shepherd who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on April 2nd because his previous owner moved and made no provision for his pet. Weighing 74 lbs, Bear is a beautiful representative of his breed with a handsome face and a glorious coat. He is OK on leash, interested in meeting other dogs, and has already learned to sit on command! He also seems to be housebroken. Bear is friendly with new people and loves to be petted -- he is attentive and affectionate to his handler and wants to please. He has a pleasant, mellow demeanor because of his large size, we recommend Bear for an adopter who is experienced and comfortable with large dogs.
