Residents of Umoja in Thika hold peaceful protests against land grabbing

About 300 residents of Umoja estate in Thika Sub-County held peaceful protests against the alleged grabbing of their land by a private developer. The residents accuse the developer of using fake documents to acquire a title deed for the land allocated to them 30 years ago . Hundreds of Umoja estate residents in Thika Sub-County marching as they chant songs and slogans to express their displeasure over alleged grabbing of their land.
