A5215194 Brooke is a calm 6-year-old copper-and-tan female Chihuahua who was found as a stray in Baldwin Park and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on September 1st. Weighing 16 lbs, Brooke just wants to find a lap to call home. She loves to cuddle, be held and enjoys exploring the world in a low-key way. She’s a friendly, well-mannered lady who shows signs of being housebroken.  Though she loves the companionship of people, she still needs to learn about her canine friends and is cautious around other dogs. Her teeth need some attention and she requires a health waiver. Brooke is also a bit overweight and will need a nutritious diet and exercise to keep her feeling and looking her best. Brooke is good on leash and will be happy with short walks around the neighborhood. Brooke will be a great companion for a senior or anyone who likes to hang out at home and give her lots of attention.
