Attorney General given 8 days to investigate Kuteesa

Parliament has given the Attorney General William Byaruhanga up to the 20th of December to table an interim report on his investigations into allegations that Foreign Affairs Minister Sam Kuteesa received a 500,000 dollar bribe from a Chinese investor Chi Ping Patrick Ho. 

President Museveni on Monday revealed that he had instructed Byaruhanga to investigate the matter after Kuteesa informed him that the money was meant for charity. 

It is alleged that Kuteesa also received another 500,000 dollars which he was supposed to deliver to president Museveni.
