Residents of  Watamu area in Kilifi North constituency are up in arms over what they say is an attempt by a private developer to grab a piece of land set aside as  a fish landing site. The over 20,000 people claim that the property in question is public land and are accusing a section of their leaders of colluding with the tycoon to change its ownership.
