Night scene near the Ang Mo Kio Hub around Jan 21, 2014. I notice long queues at this pawnshop every evening whenever I passed by to Ang Mo Kio Hub 2 minute-walk away. There are 3 licensed money-lending shops. A long queue is present at one of the 3 shops. Not for money changing but for money-exchange. The Malaysian ringgit has depreciated much more against the Singapore Dollar and so long queues are present at money-changers here to get more Malaysian Ringgit for shopping in Johor Baru for Chinese New Year on Jan 31, 2014.
