World Bank launches a 219 million dollar funds to assist poultry farmers

The World Bank has launched a 219 million dollar funds to assist 360,000 small holder poultry farmers in 21 Counties. The fund under the National Agricultural and Rural Inclusive Growth initiative is also anticipated to create one million jobs for youth and women taking part in the program. National and county governments in the targeted areas will be required to contribute 19 million US dollars and the World Bank will contributing the remainder.
