Former Ruaraka OCS Chief Inspector Nahashon Mutua has been found guilty of murder in the death of Martin Koome Manyara a suspect who died while in police custody. Lady Justice Martha Mutuku who is expected to sentence him on Thursday next week said the prosecution had proved beyond reasonable doubt that he assaulted the suspect at Ruaraka police cells in 2013 leading to his death. This is the first time that a top police officer has been found guilty of extra judicial killings. Ben Njue with the details.
