Before becoming known as SunDivas, sisters Samantha and Nadine Bryant performed as UK Soca duo Muzik Lil Muzik.

In this surviving 2013 Julianspromos interview, Muzik Lil Muzik speaks with Sheniele “Vivaa” Dodson in New York during a period when the London-based sisters were expanding their music beyond the UK.

By this point, Muzik Lil Muzik had already made an impact on the UK Soca scene, including winning both the UK Groovy Soca Monarch and Power Soca Monarch competitions in 2011.

Their international push continued in 2013 with music including “Colonise,” as the duo connected Caribbean culture in London with audiences in New York and other markets.

After the Muzik Lil Muzik era, Samantha and Nadine later performed as Sunshine & Nadiva before adopting the combined name SunDivas.
