The Speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga has reminded journalists of their responsibility of informing and educating the public about parliamentary work, so it can have informed engagements. According to Kadaga, journalists mirror parliament’s roles of accountability, budget and oversight of government projects. She made the remarks during the swearing-in ceremony of the new executive of the Uganda Parliamentary Press Association this morning.
