A5076818 Captain is a smiley-faced, inquisitive 10-year-old caramel-and-white neutered male Jack Russell Terrier and Chihuahua mix who was found in Whittier as a stray on June 11th and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Weighing 15 lbs, Captain is an attentive, sweet, and friendly fellow who greets everyone with a wagging tail. He walks politely on leash and shows clear signs of being housebroken. Captain also gets along well with other dogs. Like all more mature dogs, Captain should have a thorough vet check on adoption—the shelter vet said Captain has dental issues and a possible heart murmur (no grade given). Agreeable, affectionate, and go-with-the-flow Captain will be a fantastic best friend, indoor pet, and companion in any type of household.
