Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 - specs, hardware, body and build

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a 10.1 inch (diagonal size) tablet by Samsung following the path of its predecessor Galaxy Note 5.3. 
The Note 10.1 is however powered by a 1.4 GHz quad core processor with 2 GB of RAM. This is among the first devices to have a RAM of 2 GB which basically means great multitasking capabilities and phenomenal speed. 

The display of the Galaxy Note 10.1 is a 10.1 inch PLS TFT screen. The colors are really nice and natural and appropriate brightness levels. 
The display has wide viewing angles, so basically you and your friends or family can watch a video/movie sitting alongside you and not have any problems. The colors don't wash out and the brightness is more or less retained.

The device breathes off a 7,000mAh battery which does take very long to charge and likewise, discharge. The processor is quite powerful and does require alot of juice, however, this battery is a tough nut. It provides a good duration of back up and should last somewhere between a day and two.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 features a 1.9MP front camera and 5 MP rear camera with Autofocus and LED flash. Both cameras can record HD (720p) videos as well.

The device weighs slightly heavy but not heavier than an iPad. It is a 10.1 inch tablet and hence the weight should not be a surprise, 600gms. 

The S-pen is now even more improved in the Galaxy Note 10.1. With increased step sensitivity and precision, the Note taking experience has been enhanced in the Note 10.1. They have even worked on the palm rejection, so you can easily rest your palm on the surface of Note and still be able to write smoothly enabling better and more realistic handwriting.
