A section of political leaders allied to the ruling jubilee party has opposed calls for constitutional amendments ahead of the 2022 general election. Led by Majority leader Aden Duale, the group hit out at NASA leader Raila Odinga for pushing for a constitutional referendum saying the proposal was driven by selfish interests.
