Phillip Sear plays - at the request of a viewer - a short nocturne, the seventh piece from the 1913 'Album Mignon' by the Italian organist, composer and teacher Costante Adolfo Bossi (1876-1953). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Italian organist, composer and teacher Costante Adolfo Bossi (1876-1953) was actually the longer-lived younger brother of the far better-known Marco Enrico Bossi (1861-1925). I don't know much about his life, but he was sometime organist of the Basilica San Fedele in Como, and professor of harmony and counterpoint at Milan Conservatory. This piece appeared in a compilation - misattributed to his brother! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- Played by Phillip Sear http://www.psear.co.uk (Email: [email protected] WhatsApp: http://wa.me/441444483794 ) TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@pianogems
