Yes I love Squier Strat 'Standard' series guitars. They are in a class all by themselves in the world of budget guitars. Yes, the 'Classic Vibe' series is considerably better made, better looking and better sounding than this but remember, the basic Squier strats (including the 'Strat', the 'Affinity' series and the 'Bullet' are considerably worse than the 'Standard' series too). 

This guitar was well kept and in pretty immaculate condition in terms of finish however it had the worst neck relief possible. The neck looked like a sagging rope bridge over a wide canyon...if you get my meaning. As a result, the action at the 21st fret was around 4.5mm and the guitar was unplayable. It also had the same string (I think a 'G') three times in the 'G', 'B' and top 'E' positions which will have done the neck relief no good either. 

Thankfully, there was no lasting damage as you'll see on this video and I was able to transform this unplayable monster into a lovely quality instrument - the way it ought to be when it leaves the shop or the factory! No real problems on this guitar - just a good, solid 'Reloved' treatment shown step-by-step.
