These videos show the upgrading of a Chinese strat-style guitar bought for a customer by his wife as a much loved present (but not a great playing guitar). The brief was to do whatever I could to make this play and sound better than it did.

I proposed re-radiusing the neck, fitting new medium jumbo frets, new bridge, new tuners, new electrics and new pickups. He agreed and I set to work and switched the camera to 'on'.

Unfortunately, the first video showing the de-fretting, re-radiusing and re-fretting got lost in the digital ether :-( 

In this video, I fit the new strings and complete the set up.
