Second arrest in the murder of an innocent victim in Paddock Hills

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Police make a second arrest in the murder of an innocent man at a Paddock Hills gas station. Robert Neal, 21, was arrested on Feb. 8 for the death of Anthony Harris.

Harris was shot to death while sitting in his car at a gas pump at a gas station on Paddock Road on Jan. 24. It was 3:35 in the morning. Harris made the stop every night.

Harris worked at Frisch's for 18 years. "He's completely innocent victim, not someone who engages in high-risk activity. He's a man who goes to and from work. A good family man, seems no reason why he would be targeted,” said Cincinnati Police Lt. Col. Mike John.

Deoveon Riggins was arrested a few days later. At the time, police said he wasn't the one who pulled the trigger. Riggins is accused of driving the shooter to Akron.

Cincinnati homicide detectives, the Fugitive Apprehension Section and the Cincinnati and Akron offices of the US Marshal's Service tracked Neal down and arrested him.

Riggins is locked up on a $1 million bond. There may be two other suspects on the run.
