EAC countries urged to increase export volumes

East African countries haver been urged to increase volumes of their exports to compete better in trade. Justus Narende of the Northern Corridor Directorate says that despite the vast mineral resources in east African countries, not much is exported from the region. He spoke during a tour of the Malaba and Busia One Border Stop Posts organized by the EAC and aimed at assessing the progress of the developments at the crossing points. Also president were East African Minister ministers Kirunda Kivejinja and his Kenyan counterpart Adam Muhammad.
