Making peach cobbler from scratch is really simple, and will impress! Here is the recipe: Homemade Peach Cobbler First preheat your oven to 435 degrees Fahrenheit Cut up about 9 large peaches and place into a 9 x11 baking dish, glass works the best. Sprinkle the following over the peaches: 1 Tablespoon lemon juice 2 /1/2 Tablespoons cornstarch 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar Using a spatula, combine all of the ingredients in the baking dish until the peaches have been coated well with the mixture. Now place the baking dish in your oven and bake for 10 minutes. While your peaches are baking, in a mixing bowl blend the following: 1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking spices, or cinnamon (optional) 1 stick of butter, melted 1/4 cup of water Blend all the ingredients until it is a thick batter. Remove the peaches from the oven, and spoon and spread your biscuit mixture over the top of the peaches. Then return to the oven, and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the biscuit topping is golden brown. Allow to cool, and then serve either as it is, or add a scoop of ice cream. Enjoy!
