BoU probe: Central Bank retained Commercial Bank directors as legal advisors

Legislators on the committee of Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises have heard that Bank of Uganda contracted a law firm as transaction advisors for the closure and sale of National Bank of Commerce, without following proper procurement procedures. The law firm was paid Shs 4 billion for that service.
