An ultra modern device for early Infant HIV/AIDS Diagnosis has been commissioned at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu. The device launched jointly by 1st Lady Margaret Kenyatta and her Mozambican counterpart Isaura Nyusi will provide immediate results to enable babies exposed to the HIV virus commence life-saving antiretroviral therapy. The First Lady said the new device is a milestone in the war against HIV/AIDS.
