Ghana will from Monday observe a week of national mourning following the death of  former Secretary General of the United Nations and Nobel Peace Laureate Kofi Annan.  According to Ghanaian president Nana Akufon Ada, the national flag will fly at half-mast across the country and in all of Ghana’s diplomatic missions across the world in tribute to a man he described  as an ardent believer in the capacity of the Ghanaians and all of mankind to chart  its own course onto the path of progress and prosperity.
