Westone Concord 1 re fret and set up Part 2

Here's the 2nd part of Brian's Westone Concord 1 refret. In the end, this guitar turned out to have 1 slightly lower fret than the rest. You'll hear me discuss the challenge this presents when I re-fret but leave the fingerboard in original worn 'mojo' condition. This has happened a couple of times in the last year when I've not re-radiused the board which suggests to me that the neck has slight dips and troughs that only show up later in the re-fret / levelling process. Obviously it would be ideal to pick this up earlier or - another possibility - to eradicated it altogether by insisting (as some luthiers appear to) on planing / sanding every neck during the re-fret process. That does make sense; you can only guarantee a near-perfect re-fret if you're in control of the condition of the underlying fingerboard too. Anyway, this slight 'dip' made me do a 2nd levelling and compromise on a tiny raise in the action. There's no alternative to this other than to pull all the frets, re-radius the board, re-fret and re-finish.
