Ex N&W branch line in southern Ohio that sees one train a week, usually with just a single locomotive. Today they had 2! This Norfolk Southern branch line railroad is known as The Peavine Line or The Cincinnati Line. Cincinnati East Terminal Railway CCET RY ( Frontier Rail ) leases this line from NS. NS ran their last train on this 105 mile branch on April 25, 2014. In this video we see two D9 40CW, 7 covered hoppers and 4 flat cars cross Kline Road near Mount Orab, Ohio. This is the NS T51. This local shunting crew usually only has one locomotive. This was shot 11-13-13. This section of the line went almost a year without a train until March 20, 2015 when CCET extended their lease from MP32+ to MP62.4 and now they lease it to MP78.45. See my video playlists for Cincinnati East Terminal Railway and for Cincinnati Eastern Railroad. NOBODY has covered this line a fraction as much as I have. My videos cover the line all the way from Clare Yard, Mariemont MP9 to Plum Run at MP78.45! Thanks for watching! Please subscribe to Jawtooth !
